Four F-35's left Spang today back to the US via Luke AFB. They were the four F-35's that did the trials at Payerne. So 12 F-35's left at Spang. (Two of the F-35's diverted to Lakenheath with ptoblems and two went on to the States).
Do not expect the F-4's to depart on sunday, they have to fly via Aviano wich is closed on sunday. Expect an early mondaymorning departure of the Greek F-4's and Dutch F-35's (around 0800LT).
I suspect that the new setup of TLP means that week one is completely acadamics. Week two and three will see flying every day! This way units will only have to send aircraft to Albacete for two weeks instead of the previous four weeks.
Also participating are Eurofighters from Nörvenich and F16's from Volkel plus Belgian F16's. The AMI will participate with F-35, Eurofighter, Tornado, AV8B, G550, P72, T346, KC767, HH101 and HH212.
Also reported are Tornado's GAF, KC135 USAF.
