That's in quite an astonishingly good condition after a crash and elapsed time.
Shame about the pilot, RIP.

On WT-20 the camera nose looks remarkably like it should be an RF-18D. What is this fit? I've not noticed one before.

Wasn't Chateaudun handed over to the local district last year for the symbolic sum of 1 Euro?

Re: Montauban - 18 stored SA330s - LOG & REQ
Colin Which Puma do you think is 1222? Photos are of the starboard side and Phil's is of the port side? So far I agree with much of the work done but I do question 1052/DCB, ref your post of 30th. This Puma 'should' be easy to identify as the black patch of camo on the boom is quite distinctive and ...

It is probably sheer coincidence but 5 Pumas have left for the US and desert DDG was inside during Phil's visit. This surprisingly coincides with the unknowns=6!
Martin do you know the arrangement order for May 19 or have you just arranged what was seen in the corresponding positions to March20?

Re: Airpower 2019 Zeltweg 6-7 September
Hi All Whilst we were in the museum, my mate Stan got a tap on his shoulder by a museum guide. "Do you want to see two aircraft you can't see?" he was asked. Never one to turn down such an offer he said yes! We were taken behind some screens and shown the L19 3A-BM and the Safir 3F-SR. We were infor...

Thanks for your notes on the PdeF. It confirms what I thought, the list on the airshow news thread was wrong. Regarding the codes. These change frequently. I seem to remember at one RIAT they were changed between arrival and departure. Check out the aircraft and codes at Volkel!

Re: Mont de Marsan (LFBM) MIL 2019
I was talking about Friday. The main photo I have seen is for Friday. It has eight aircraft in it doing a oppostion pass of 4 aircraft in each direction. The first four a/c are very clear and Ian gave me the other two off a separate photo. On their first pass over the airfield we were round the back...

Re: Mont de Marsan (LFBM) MIL 2019
We saw the PdeF when we were round the back of the airfield. There was a formation of 9 plus a spare. The usual 10?
I have seen and can vouch for 139 as clear as a bell on a photo.
