Black & White Mirage F1CT

Hi all, I'm trying out how Flickr works, so this is a try to share a picture on this forum. It's a shot of one of the last Mirage F1CTs on the platform of Mont de Marsan airbase, just a few months before being withdrawn from operational service in October of 2012. Note the mechanic performing post f...

If I'm not mistaken F-BUAD left Bordeaux Mérignac for the last time this morning.
It flew its last flight as zero-G last week. No more parabolic flights for this A300...

Don't you mean speedbrakes?
euh.... no :)
In the link he refers to the markings and bullet holes. If you look at the second picture, you'll see the holes above the tactical code 118-NC. These are for the stairs.

As far as I know the 21st is for Air Force personnel and family and the 22nd is for the general public.

I don't want to spoil your day but as I understood the Skyhawks were grounded already sometime ago, even before the first M-346 was delivered. I hope that somebody can prove that I am wrong though! :-)

Greetings, Paul

Skyhawks stopped flying in the last quarter of 2012.

Not to start a very long discussion here, but doesn't this thread belong in the Tattle lounge ?

There's not a single news related fact in this post, it's just guessing about the possible events that will follow in the coming days/ weeks...
