Chris,
I'm sure one of the mods will move El Copero into Europe soon!
In the meantime, how was the Bo105 identified please. According to my notes, it's c/n had been previously checked as S-71!

Riga MiG-23

A MiG-23MLA quoted as c/n 2960325098 is reported as having been at the Riga museum in the early 90s. It appears as such in the Scramble database, and on some Russian forums. Has anyone ever seen this aircraft at Riga, and maybe photographed it? Alternatively, did anyone visit the museum in the early...

Beelitz MiG-23

A query from Russia has arisen about the identity of the MiG-23ML 70 red which is preserved at Beelitz, Germany. It is quoted as 0390310389, but this is also quoted as the identity of 54 red at the Zhuliany museum (which itself is also quoted as 0390310387). Does anyone have photographic evidence of...

Re: Royal Malaysian Air Force forms aerobatics team

Yes indeed, I checked them at Langkawi.
My interested faded when a pilot told me they are NOT military aircraft. The team consists of both civil and military pilots.

Re: Buochs (Stans) (LSMU) - 2011 MIL

Thanks for the feedback Andy. It was indeed in the hangaar where most PC-6 maintenance takes place. Do you know how long it's been here? Made a note in August en January 2011 of a Mexican roundel. It had definitely arrived by August, and I suspect much earlier than that, although I have no proof th...

Interesting that it is labled as an Su-24MR.
I cannot see anything in the reference that says this.

Re: Tender:British MoD has UOR for 2 Bae146-200s for procurement

Just to confirm, the wording means that the aircraft have to be delivered within one month of the award of the contract. I would think they will be for operation in sunny climes. As they are being acquired under Urgent Operational Requirement (UOR), I do not think these will be for Boscombe Down. An...

This will probably have been PC-6 3304 (c/n 884) which is being rebuilt following an accident.
It is in the hangar down the road from the main complex.

Re: LIMA 2011 Pulau Langkawi,Malaysia (WMKL/LGK)

Chris, I was walking round the static on Monday, and unless I experienced temporary blindness, only two Rafales were present: 124/104-GC 314/104-HP I also took a photo down the line of tails, and there are only two Rafale tails in it. Willing to be corrected of course, but I was reading an interview...
