Thanks everyone for the positive reactions, that's quite the ego boost especially @jimmy, judging by your posts & pictures, you're about the absolute expert on taking pics of helicopters. As EHGR officially is my home base, I really should go try hang out at and around the base more.

k, now for real the last one :) Cannot recall ever having seen this phenomana, a helicopter producing contrails... and I know I've seen some! This was taken the day before the other images, when I was in the hotel allready. I can only assume it's the same AB212, as it has the same broken right hand ...

Hear them on the radio now, Silo 1 and 2 for a couple of low approaches. Should be 2 F16's from Volkel according to the callsign.
