Re: Winter operations Austrian Air Force

Thanks everyone for the positive reactions, that's quite the ego boost :) especially @jimmy, judging by your posts & pictures, you're about the absolute expert on taking pics of helicopters. As EHGR officially is my home base, I really should go try hang out at and around the base more.

This was taken the day before the other images, when I was in the hotel allready. I can only assume it's the same AB212, as it has the same broken right hand ...

Hehe, true that! Fingers freezing off. And thanks for the compliments. Got a whole lot of white out pictures, trouble of course is you can't read any serials or anything of them, but maybe I'll head over to the arty-farty thread for a couple more :)

Winter operations Austrian Air Force

Like many others, this week I'm staying in Austria for some skiing. Last couple of years I've been going to the same spot and since a couple of years the Austrian Air Force is seemingly liking the spot too as they mostly are using this place for dropping paratroopers. As my main purpose on the slope...

Hear them on the radio now, Silo 1 and 2 for a couple of low approaches. Should be 2 F16's from Volkel according to the callsign.

Inder...
