update now, Crash is confirmed on Sky news. Seems to have happened south of Lakenheath while flight was waiting for the tanker to become airborne from Mildenhall. Pilot seems to have ejected.

USMC F18 down in UK

Seems an F18 crashed this morning somewhere in the UK shortly after departure from Lakenheath. Callsign of the downed one Mazda43. Involved tanker fot the flight had a TCAS alert 8 miles ahead above and later a medivac helicopter was heard landing in a field and could not find the downed pilot yet. ...

Lobo01 161530 departed this morning for Sigonella.

Above FL100 airmasks must be used when a pressurisation-problem occurs. This probable problem occured below FL100, so the crew stayed at FL100 to prevent using airmasks.

Raptors "Bones 1/2" together with 2 times 4 F16's "Weasel and Demon" went into UK airspace for training.
Tanker was "Quid127".

According FC 2 F16's are enroute to Spang from CONUS as Trend73/74 with tails 360 and 827. Arrival late afternoon/early evening. Roma31 and 32 2KC135T's are their tankers.

Anyone has any info of a KLM 747 this afternoon over Katwijk around 1400hrs at 2000ft coming from the north, performing a righthand 180degrees turn, thereafter banking left and right and proceeded to the north again? Was it a sort of testflight or did it have a problem?

You could also check it on the inside of the nosewheel door. If you could blow up the first picture you will be able to read it. It should read 4013.
