Re: M-346/T-346 for Royal Netherlands Air Force?

The KLu is looking at leasing M346s for things like CAS training, because F-35 flying hours are so expensive. Consideration is also being given to operating the type (M346) for QRA duties. That would be the wisest decision for the Klu in years..... So I guess not. You make it sound like the KLu in ...

Lets hope not. They caused this to happen.

Re: 07april2020 PIC: A-10 Thunderbolt Warthog wheels up land

Indeed. Perhaps an indication of a complete electrical failure rendering the "emergency stores jettison" button inoperable? It is weird. The emergency system is usually on a completely separate circuit, so it functions independantly in case of an electrical problem. Also most of these sys...

Re: Corona: all KLM pax Boeing 747 Jumbos retired in April 2

There will be very little opportunity or reason for any extras or festivities. That would send a wrong signal at this moment. I would not be surprised if KLM is nationalized by the Dutch government within a few weeks. Just like they did with ABN a couple of years ago. KLM/Schiphol is too important f...
