It only covers the mil a/a freq range: 138-145 mHz. Moreover I'm quite convinced that this scanner in the mentioned range works only in FM and not in AM (which is esential for aviation). But to be sure - check it by yourself please. Also, according to radioreference.com , it doesn't support 8.33 kH...

Thank you very much for answering to my questions, especially the second one.

SBS-1 is showing this to be a C-130 93-7311 Sorry for interrupting - just two questions. 1) Which SBS-1? A prviate one or any on-line accesible? 2) What kind of military airplanes can be seen on SBS-1 at all? Every? None? Only military transport aircrafts? Or maybe depending on avionics (onboard eq...

Re: USAF Thunderbirds frequencies

What is this? As far as I know this part of airband is dedicated exclusively for radionavigational purposes. (Correct me if I am wrong, please!) Do they really use this freq for voice communications?

In fact there were. But it wasn't that strict and I managed to pass it somehow. ;)

Thanks anyone for help! :)

That's really bad... :(
And is there a chance anyone would "catch" me while listening? The Police or something?
And is there any controle while entering the airshow?
What could be the possible consequences of having a radio or listening to it?

Expect some help (mainly in regs) here - hope this is a good place ( if not suggest me a better place, please ). The E-3A was operating over Poland on Monday (10 March), and made some approaches in quite a few airports, namely EPWA, EPKK, EPPO, EPKS ( these ones confirmed ). I am 95% sure it was LX-...

Hello! I'd like to ask you a question and it seems to me this is the best place to do it ( I'm new to this forum, so please be patient ;)). Today on EPPW (Powidz AB, Poland) an AWACS (E-3) had some exercise ( doing touch and go and so on... ). As far as I know these planes (NATO AWACSes) are based a...

Here they are, the 4 Serials of the Polish F-16's @ Lajes this weekend. 4064 4065 4066 4086 I confirm. Sorry for interrupting you, but if I may add something: Brand new Polish F-16 block 52 adv. (named Retro 41-44) landed safely yesterday at 16:30 (= 15:30 UTC) at Poznan-Krzesiny AB (ICAO code: EPK...
