Don't know of it especially returned to AMS, but PH KZH (KLC F70) just unloaded his pax on the runway 27.

Aircraft was towed away.

Anybody more info on why the pax were bused to the terminal?

OK guys; stop the flaming and bashing!! I only wonderd this because I do remember a much more serious "incident" on the 06-24 a couple of years ago (i think 6) when a Saudi Arabia Cargo aircraft, can't remember if it was a MD11 or 747, lost a part of it's engine-cowling and the debrie was ...

I can understand that the first landing will go thru because nobody noticed something. But I can't understand why multiple aircraft land after such incident. Are the pilots of the following landings blind or something? I can imagine that the first following pilot after a incident would call it in by...

Wasn't the schipholtour organised bij the Aviodome when the musuem was still located at Schiphol? I've wonderd aswell why the tour had stopped but as far as I remembered it were indeed security-reasons. For myself it isn't nessesary anymore because i can take a tour everyday if I want, even along th...

Heard some (bad?) rumours this week that before the end of this month (January 2008) the Kaagbaan spot will be closed and the new spot along the 18R will be opened. But we all know too that the "Soap"-opera about this spot hasn't ended before the entrance is really blocked and of course th...

You must see it as a long term investment. You can count on it that there will be an instensive calculation done to compare the savings on fuel cost in the long term and the accuiring cost of the winglets. And with the excessive oilprices these days the turningpoint to buy and instal winglets are ge...

@ Topgun 1984;

When Schiphol says it's temporary it usually means it's here to stay......

Also the other way around; when they say it's defenite it usually changes after a short period.....

(At least thats my experience)

I always thought that in the period Ryanair serious wanted to come to Rotterdam in the past, Transavia's "sudden" (political??) move to RTM blocked them out. But reading some reactions here, is it save to say that this hasn't sorted the expected effect and transavia is backing out so that ...

@ Ard Although I also don't want to start an endless discussion and I was/am well aware that lives are at stake here, I want to react at your post. Primarly reasons is because I can remember a sitiuation with a Sterling 737 which made a "really urgent" medical evacuation in the period befo...

Virgin A340-600 deel 3 en hun towbar...welke towbar?

Has everybody forgot that this problem could occur when a 340-600 lands here? It isn't the first time that they encounter this problem, they've been here twice now. Why didn't they parked them on a spot where the plane could easely depart again, like the P-holding or the new J-apron or something lik...

Not that it really belongs to this topic, but be aware that in weeks 36 and 37 the kaagbaan is out of use for the maintenance which was postponed from last weeks.

I guess the spot still will be open than but there won't be any plane's to spot this weeks........
