Stadtlohn-Vreden EDLS 10-10-2021 [CIV][AN-2]

Decided to visit Stadtlohn late in the afternoon to see if something nice was around. Gehling Flugtechnik had a AN-2 on the platform, so I'll take that :D The view from the restaurant/tower area of the field was blocked by a small aircraft, so had to be a bit creative.. https://live.staticflickr.com...

Mönchengladbach - Oldtimer Drive-/Fly-in - 26-09-2021 [CIV]

The last oldtimer drive and fly-in for this year took place at Mönchengladbach (EDLN) yesterday. The platform in front of the Junkers hangar is used as parking for classic vehicles, and the planes that fly-in are parked directly on the edge of the platform. A few of the flying participants: https://...

Leeuwarden - Hawker Hunter - 13-08-2021

The hope for some more Norwegian F-35s brought me back to Leeuwarden this morning. Unfortunately, no WIC flights and no Norwegian F-35s. But the Hunter was supposed to fly at 09:00 and 11:00 local. It did so at 11:00. Two KLu F-35s went airborne a little bit later, but that was all. https://live.sta...

Leeuwarden - Norwegian F-35s - 11-08-2021

A day where the sun disappeared when planes arrived, and grilled us in between... In the end, an enjoyable day with 4 norwegian F-35s in the bag.
