Re: EHGR 24-04-2024

Re: Megara - 9 april 2024

On the 16th I logged the following Chinooks: East apron: 921,929,907,917,906,911 and 904 West apron: 903, 913, 912, 905 plus two. Regards Mark I have 903 very clear on my photos parked between NH90s 843 and 841. So, I would like to know where was 913 parked? As far as I know the 913 wasn't there on...

Re: Megara - 9 april 2024

Re below, you are absolutely correct, 905 it is. The photo doesn't lie! Can you (or somebody else) also confirm 903?, we read this as 913. But the serial was very faded. Unfortunately I did not check the nose. 913 have a larger nose with black radome (CH-47SD) and the 903 have a normal nose. All se...

Re: PALIS Foundation Storage - Kalivia 11 April 2024

Hi Rob, trying to identify aircraft for my photos, most were still well wrapped when I had a look around in May 2017. Yours is the first report I've seen since then. The main line up was in this order, and I'm guessing they don't move very often, if at all! J-35 35329 F-104G FX-52 Sea Harrier F/A2 ...

Re: PALIS Foundation Storage - Kalivia 11 April 2024

Eurodemobbed and the database have the German F-84F as DD+348 Can you confirm the Sea Harrier FA2s. Eurodemobbed have three listed but there were only two present in May 2017, but I wasn't able to identify them. The F-84F was indeed a typo... must be DD+348. We saw three... the three mentioned abov...

Ah ok... How did you managed to read that one?
We saw one in front of that hangar on the 9th, and approx. five inside.
The 11th the one in front was gone and only approx. five were again seen inside.

Re: Megara - 9 april 2024

Late morning on 11th, the CH-47 on the right-hand side of the hangar, when seen from the road just past the gate, was ES-930. An additional NH.90 on 9th was ES-853. It was put away when we were there (early afternoon). Just out of interest. Was the 930 parked inside the hangar or outside? If outsid...

Hi Rob, Great log, we only managed a look from outside, which proved to be a challenge. Did find some high ground with a good view inside. Did you see the A7 cockpit near the Canberra with sharks mouth? Regards Adrian Clark Yep, saw that one... it had 70-390 on the cockpit. But as far as I could fi...

Hi, Nice log, but can you please give the definition of 'broken up', do you mean that all the aircraft have been scrapped ? Looking forward to your reply.
