I got a new shutter in my Nikon D70 after 10,000 exposures... Way to soon in my opionion. The new one has already done its work more than 20,000 times.
The new shutter costed 139 euro's, but as it was repaired under warranty (of Cameranu.nl) it didn't cost me anything

As far as I remember the B-52's came over in 1993, at the end of the afternoon when numerous spotters had left the field already.... I was one of them. The serials have been published in Scramble of november 1993 I think, but I currently don't have that copy available.

I've seen a Fokker 60 and a number of F.27's operating from Lelystad, which has a runway of the same length. Also, F.27's used to fly from the grass-runway at Texel occasionaly. I guess that it depends on the payload and weather circumstances wether or not it is possible to fly from an airfield like...
