Re: 4Aviation's Portugal tour

It took me a couple of days, but as promised, here is the final instalment. We visited the old Air Force museum at Alverca in the morning and then slowly drove to Beja. The main gate is guarded by a couple of aircraft. An unmarked German F-104, a T-38A and this T-33A. http://i288.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: 4Aviation's Portugal tour

As promised a few more from our trip to Portugal last week. I left at Ota on Monday and will continue with Montijo on Tuesday morning. All twelve EH-101s have been delivered by now. Two were deployed, so ten were at home. http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll170/jvantoor/Portugal%202010/EH-10119601E...

Software

Hi guys, Not so much a question about photography, but about some software. There are several websites like airliners.net, jetphotos.net, planepictures.net where lots of pictures of aircraft can be found. I am looking for this kind of software for a personal website. Any thoughts as to where this is...

Re: RAF Air Tattoo Fairford 17-7

I also took the 4Aviation coach. We were extremely fortunate with the weather in the afternoon. Almost clear skies and nice temperatures. Thanks to all who joined us. I must say the Apache had the most boring demo ever! No one was watching (maybe the fact that the Vulcan was taxying by and the B-52 ...

Re: Duxford Flying Legends

Hi Micha, Great stuff! On the airfield photography is challenging as your are looking into the sun for the better part of the day. But with a bit of patience one can take a couple of decent shots. Do not forget that there is also an incredible museum with dozens of aircraft in the hangars. Below a s...

4Aviation trip to Chile

Great pics everybody! I had left off with the F-5s at Santiago IAP. But there was lots more to be seen on this ramp. Although variations of this pictures have already been displayed in this subject, I also wanted to share my view. We had to vacate the ramp due to the arrival of the DHC-6 Twin otter....

4Aviation trip to Chile

Marco did a great job on posting pictures of the trip to Chile on this message board. I am sure more will follow. Here is a small selection of my pictures. The trip to Chile was planned for some time, but things got complicated when the country was hit by a devastating earthquake on 27 February. You...

Re: Chile 2010 (the route to the FIDAE and FIDAE)

The registration on the F-5 is on the rear fuselage.
Even from very close by it is difficult to see.

Yesterday there were ten F-5s, today only one is left.

Greetings,
Jurgen
