On this 15" notebook I am using at work, at 1280*800 resolution, I would choose the 900 px to keep the image within my screen. Have to try this at home at my 17" screen though...

To be more detailed: the Nikon TC-17E converter will not even fit on the AF-D 80-400. The converter has an extra metal tab in the lens mount which prevents physically mounting it to non approved lenses (like the 80-400).

euhm... little late perhaps, but all current Nikon converters will not auto focus with the 80-400. This is because the 80-400 is an AF-D and needs the body focus motor, and the converters don't have a mechanical connection for this. If you do need auto focus, you should look for third party converte...

Bekend probleem!

Mijn keuze gaat zeer waarschijnlijk de Panasonic DMC-ZX1 worden. Compact formaat, 12 MP, bereik wat overeenkomt met 25 - 200mm, en nog een hele berg specs hier. Prijs ligt ronde de 250 euro, afhankelijk van waar je het ding wilt halen.

I suppose you mean 08-10-09, or is it expected for tomorrow?
