Since there is no topic yet on the military sales at Le Bourget, I'll start one. First (at least known to me) sales are announced by India. They have confirmed an order for 10 C-17's, and for 75 PC-7 mkII's.

The communication(posted on Liveatc.net) between the tower, the B-17 and the P-40 was quite chaotic. After the pilot of the P-40 started yelling "you're on fire!" the tower didn't know who was on fire, or who was yelling. The German Do-228 and P-3 have been confirmed for more airshows, and cancelled again (Zeltweg, Fairford), so I am afraid they won't show up at Leeuwarden.

Nooit over nagedacht, maar inderdaad, ik ben rechts, en kijk door de zoeker met mn linkeroog.... Zelfde met de pijp, ook daar kijk ik met links doorheen.

Er zit toch een piloot in? Daardoor is het wat mij betreft een gewone fighter. Ook al heeft ie in onbemande modus de rol van drone.

Ik schrijf geen UAV's, en ben ook niet van plan dat te gaan doen. Hoewel sommige UAV's (MQ-1, MQ-4, Beast of Kandahar) behoorlijk groot zijn, leg ik toch de grens bij het bemannen van een toestel.

At Tempelhof there was nothing when I went there last year. Although it's worth going there, as it's an impressive building, designed by Albert Speer.

I did not go to the Allierten museum, so with that I can't help.

Kun je misschien wel een tipje van de sluier oplichten? Dwz, is het militair, civiel, of gvmt?

I think they are active this year, as they are listed on the Radom programme, although that's of course no guarantee that they will be there.
