Re: Port visits Lisbon (Portugal)

Been awhile since I could post one, but we have another carrier in Lisbon. The ITS Giuseppe Garibaldi arrived this morning and is tied down next to Santa Apolonia railway station. On deck were two MH-101As (or UH-101As) MM81633/2-18 (at the back), MM81636/2-21 (at the front). The front one was too d...

Test registration PT-ZHP, that makes it according to the Brazilian register c/n 39000014.

Re: Lisbon - 23-24/01/2024 (CIV)

LATAM Brasil B777 are not that familiar sight at Lisbon. But what was not common for sure, was to have 2 LATAM widebodies (the other was CC-BGF) departing one after the other, in the early afternoon. They never were indeed, but they are this winter. LATAM has a daily B77W flight and a 4-weekly B789...

Re: Kuçovë Air Base, Albania

The only two storage mountain hangars were at Gjader and Kucove. From GE images, it looks like Gjader is now completely abandoned and I haven't seen any reports from it for over 10 years. I would assume that one is empty...? At Kucove, the GE images now show even more planes in front of the hangar. ...

Re: Mig 29 Pensacola

Also if someone is able to provide me a site or a list of exposed planes in the museum, it would be nice. I want to compare all aircrafts I saw to see if there is any difference before entering everything in plane logger database. I think you know my list, but going to throw it out here anyway: Pen...

Re: Israel Evacuation flights

How is AF1 considered an 'evacuation flight'?
It seems the last posts have just become a Ben Gurion log, which is interesting for sure, but does not exactly belong in this topic (or section even).

Re: C-130 restaurant in Batang Kali

Fuselage sections came from Subang, so that should limit the potential a little. Might be civilian as well. But so far no ID yet. As far as I know there are no wings with it, so not sure if the prop came from the same plane. And apparantly they have caught the airplane restaurant virus in Malaysia a...

Brazilian KC-390 2858 is currently in LIS, departing for Ostrava thursday morning. Good bet it will be at the show.

Re: Indian HPT-32 pole sitters

And another few extra HPT-32s (in green ), but also one less. X2574 was preserved at Dundigal at the officers institute, but has been removed from there. At the same time one is now on the parade ground, so that is likely the X2574, but I have no evidence of that yet. Two more are at Dundigal as wel...

Re: Lisbon (LPPT/LIS) 2023 MIL

But dep was really from Alverca. It was here on maintenance from at least May/June (when I first saw it pinging), possibly a few months longer. The K3601 was on maintenance before and left in November. Perhaps next the K3603?

Thanks Starman, now you got us all banned to the Scramble Gulag.
Still better than vaporized into nothing I guess, but still...

Come to think of it, what would be the Scramble forum's equivalent to defenestration?
As always, just asking for a friend, of course.
