And here is another Su-30 (as claimed), filmed from a drone while it gets hit and crashes in a big fireball.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed

Su-30 on fire over Ukraine (and reportedly later crashed) and a plume of smoke which is said to have been a Su-25 once. Also a Mi-8 was reportedly shot down today. Unfortunately little concrete evidence of any of it.

Re: W&R Swis 18-24 August 2022

Thanks for the log! Pratteln: Mig-21, gone, return to Czechia Allegedly this went to Nicosia in Cyprus. I haven't been able to locate it yet, but as I don't need it, I haven't tried too hard to be honest. Kalo Chlorio to be precise. I have seen pictures of it on the site of a construction company (...

Re: W&R Thessaloniki Greece experiance?

I can't tell you from experience, but in the category 'easy' W&R around there, there's a few more. 3x F-5 visible ( war museum , on a base but visible , near the beach ) and there's another on the base with the war museum, which may be visible from the street to the west, but that's not confirme...

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed

Ukraine today claims having shot down another Su-25 and, notably, a Su-24. That's the first time I see a claim of a Su-24. Also not seen any pictures or videos of Russian Fencers in action. Some were of course confirmed destroyed in the attack on an airbase in Crimea, but that's all. Anyway, these a...

And wreck of a Su-30 near Izyum. As claimed RF-81773/62rd. One of no doubt more that will be discovered in the coming weeks.

This time I am 100% sure it is a Su-25. And that it crashed.

Just not sure when it happened.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed

I must say that I can't really make out the landing gear, but at the end of the video it does look like the two engines next to each other and at least some part of a vertical tail structure next to it. Like with a Su-34 and not a Su-25. So I agree, Su-34 it must have been once...

Re: News & thoughts on Putin's invasion of Ukraine

This article reports that Putin has been told to 'F*ck off' by one of his generals... No idea how true it is... https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1667490/russia-news-general-swears-vladimir-putin-ukraine-war-kharkiv-counterattack-update Also in the article, "Russian soldiers" believe th...

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed

Another Su-25 wreck, somewhere in a forest. Seems recent, but not more info. Right at the beginning you can see it was the 20 red. https://twitter.com/TpyxaNews/status/1568713985578471425 Edit: same as the one above. Not much left of it, but from what can be seen at 0:25 in the video it looks like a...

Re: News & thoughts on Putin's invasion of Ukraine

For those who are not following the Ukrainian war through twitter... maybe time to start doing it. Before it is too late. Here in Portugal the news doesn't say anything and also Dutch news sites seem not very interested. However, the Ukrainians are going absolutely crazy and mopping up the Russians ...

Re: A330MRTT or KC-30

I like to be proven wrong. But KDC-10 was official type in press release at the time it came into service. As these where modified DC-10-30CF the T-255 was still a DC10-30CF And the navy (MLD) had some sort of type allocation system for not US types They were chronological AH-12 for Wasp SP-13 for ...
