Re: Q about the Frecnh C-160's

Construction numbers F201 to F235 are the NGs. 29 of those went to the French, the other 6 to Indonesia (civil). French original serials where F201 to F227 and H01 to H04. Note 1: F219 and F220 have become H01 and H02. I am not sure if the F number have ever been worn (I think not). Note 2: c/n F205...

Re: Falcon 900 for FAP ???

Today the former CS-DTP made its first test flight in full uniform. Paintjob is very similar to the Falcon 50s, only the cheatlines are a little different. Serial seems to be 27404, as reported elsewhere, but unfortunately the only picture I have seen so far was not of good quality enough to fully c...

Re: OPENDAY GRAZZANISE 28-3-2023 CENTO ANNI DELL' AERONAUTICA MILITARE

Re the two "Spillone" on the field, the "outer" one is (almost certainly) the MM6705 (note, not MM6701) 9-51, formerly displayed at Capodrise but now stored at Grazzanise. The MM6705 is generally understood to be (still) preserved in Introdacqua, without a code though. Not stati...

Re: Las Vegas Motor Speedway civ

The B747 is the one that was used at the Burning Man festival some years back and it should go to Area 15 in Vegas in due course. It should be N789SA, but that needs to be confirmed.

Re: Air Mobility Command removing markings

Here is hoping that one of two things will happen. Either a series of incidents (no accident, but enough to scare the sh*t out of people) due to pilots picking up the wrong plane on the flightline. Or indeed someone in power protesting this. Perhaps other nations where these planes fly to could star...

Obviously, any reasonable person would not accept such statement as true, but view them only as claims that await testing by new press releases[Sydney Powell mode off]

Uhm yes, that went boom fast :grumble:

Re: 17-18 June 2023: Beja Air Show

Strange that another team is gonna "confirm" this airshow next week Right.... Well, in the meanwhile, the PC-7 team will be in Poland on the June 16 and 17 and the Swiss F-18 display will be in Turku on June 17 and 18. But, feel free to book your tickets to Beja to enjoy the wonderfully p...

Re: Lajes (LPLA/TER) 2023 MIL

Hi. You raise a good point. I've seen that one on the ADS-B as 166762 but this was not the correct serial. Flight plan was filled as 167112 and I've just seen a photo on Facebook of him departing from Lisbon. It has codes BH 7112 on tail. Thanks for the heads up! Thanks for the answer, I saw it onl...

Re: 17-18 June 2023: Beja Air Show

There is NOT going to be an airshow at Beja this year. Probably on open day with a few locals only (September/October usually), but no airshow. I really wonder where the Swiss got this from, but it is utterly wrong. And the PC-7 team has already removed it from their schedule by the way.

Falcon 900 for FAP ???

Today (or actually yesterday for most of you, Thursday), Falcon 900 CS-DTP was ferried from Cascais to Lisbon under a FAP call sign and flightnumber and there is no outbound flight. Rumour has it that this one will be going to the FAP, question is if it will be leased and just operated on behalf of ...

Re: Lajes (LPLA/TER) 2023 MIL

Anybody for the KC-130J that arrived here today (17 feb) from Lisbon? ADSB gave it as 166762, but Lisbon airport system gave it as 167112. So far I haven't been able to get it confirmed by any of the Lisbon spotters, so any Lajes spotters that may have seen it arrive in Lajes? Visual confirmations o...
