Re: Israel Evacuation flights

How is AF1 considered an 'evacuation flight'?
It seems the last posts have just become a Ben Gurion log, which is interesting for sure, but does not exactly belong in this topic (or section even).

Re: C-130 restaurant in Batang Kali

Fuselage sections came from Subang, so that should limit the potential a little. Might be civilian as well. But so far no ID yet. As far as I know there are no wings with it, so not sure if the prop came from the same plane. And apparantly they have caught the airplane restaurant virus in Malaysia a...

Brazilian KC-390 2858 is currently in LIS, departing for Ostrava thursday morning. Good bet it will be at the show.

Re: Indian HPT-32 pole sitters

And another few extra HPT-32s (in green ), but also one less. X2574 was preserved at Dundigal at the officers institute, but has been removed from there. At the same time one is now on the parade ground, so that is likely the X2574, but I have no evidence of that yet. Two more are at Dundigal as wel...

Re: Lisbon (LPPT/LIS) 2023 MIL

But dep was really from Alverca. It was here on maintenance from at least May/June (when I first saw it pinging), possibly a few months longer. The K3601 was on maintenance before and left in November. Perhaps next the K3603?

Very exotic one this morning, although technically not a visitor as it approached LIS, then lined up for landing at Alverca:

Thanks Starman, now you got us all banned to the Scramble Gulag.
Still better than vaporized into nothing I guess, but still...

Come to think of it, what would be the Scramble forum's equivalent to defenestration?
As always, just asking for a friend, of course.

Ask your friend if he already has the Russian AF1, just in case this escalates further...

You are mixing things up dude. This Kamov is NOT one of the civil protection Kamovs. Portugal is renting choppers left and right each year to fight the fires, this is just one of them. I honestly do not know what the status of the transfer of the Portuguese Kamovs is, but this is totally unrelated.

Re: Indian HPT-32 pole sitters

Thanks! I know it is not a wildly popular type (perhaps for many not even a known type), but it is simply amazing how many are popping up all the time. Again I have been able to add 6 to the list (in red ). It remains weird that this type specifially is being used to promote the Air Force. A type th...

Re: Indian HPT-32 pole sitters

I have updated the list above, as in the past 2 years the number of found HPT-32 has more than doubled! Updates in bold above. Right now 58 are known by serial (and 1 known, but not located). 18 more are known but without serial. 4 possible. So that makes no less that 77 in total! Still more can pop...
