Re: Airpower demo 18-6

Hey guys, As a poor Brabantian TV star maybe someone can help me with a maths question: 8 Volkel Vipers in the APD and above are 9 serials! 013, 018, 062, 197, 202, 508, 511, 637 & 641. Now I have no problem with that, but maybe some of the newer Scramblers might like to know which was the spare...

Re: Aviano (LIPA) - 2010 MIL

Hey Maurizio, Didn't - at the time - realise it was 16 chicks (duh, 6, 2nd 6 and 4 more!) You'll be pleased to know that they are all safe and well and - the moderator will hate me - parked on the "Palm Trees" at Nevatim AFB. Readable between haze and sand storms from Tel Masos (aka Zwarov...

Re: LLBG 11MAR

You are both right; Erwin, I was just being lazy, and Mr Slackbladder (correct translation?) even more so: viz, the beautiful lists of serials, type name, con number etc that are posted which could only have come from a database, and not from what's actually written on the side of the a/c. Hence 881...

Tel-Aviv/Ben Gurion Airport (LLBG/TLV) - 2010 MIL

I know some of you boys and girls in Scramble-land have a penchant for C-17s, well you may be interested in the 88190 of the 437AW which has just (March 11th) arrived from Sigonella. I believe it might be quite new!

Re: ETAR 07-03-2010

Um, shame, it'd gone by 09.30, but sometimes they file to TLV and end up a bit further south! At least one of the 62nds is going out empty, the other was shut just now. Do you know the unit of the Blackhawks?

Hi
The RAFAIR Herk looked like ZH869 to me, checked at dawn so almost certain.
Are you sure about the E6B, I'm not questioning it, I just forgot to write it down!
Cheers!

Re: Short spotting trip. Suggestions??

Hi Dirk, Carless in Madrid is not a problem if you have the time. There is a bus from Barajas to Torrejon town, and from the same stop, a local bus to the shopping plaza at the western end of the runway. From here you have to walk about to get a better vantage point on part of the ramp, but active s...

Hi Harry, I see you already got an April 2005 log, which I would like to see one day;-) this is what I logged on 12 Jul 2005, unfortunately I didn't note parking positions except "*" TFs parked by side fence. Brackets indicate unconfirmed details: 6705/4-5, (6717)/37-22, 6722/5-31, 6731/37...
