to 'compensate' for the lost FM F-16s (not really related of course!), Boeing is sending 4 Qatari F-15QA instead of 2. 2 for demo's, one spare, one static. Source: Boeing news.

LOG 24 June 2024 Nice airbase with some exotic aircraft at LMTAS, if you are lucky. In my case two Kiwi C-130Js. Saw the following this week:

RNP-010 A109 Police
9XR-SN/42 A109 Police (so should be RNP-042)
9XR-SO, 9XR-SP A109

Also the AW-139 was present (should be 9XR-SQ)

The two AF Ce208 were present (should be 1808 and 1812) and about 5 Mi-24 and at least 4 Mi-171s.

Most tankers are parked at the Modification center. Drive to 31st PI W (47.8979942, -122.2762810). Two prototypes are parked at (47.9009702, -122.2895550), drive to Bernie Webber Drive. Need to check a "confirmed" ID there - VAQ-132 NL-542 had changed from BuNo 168931 to 166932 by 2.24. NL-543 was l/n as BuNo 168381 2.24. Also VAQ-131's NL-554 and NL-555 were last noted at the start of the month as BuNos 168903 and 169128 respectively. Cheers Mike www.carrierairwings.com...
