Re: 11jan2022: Taiwanese Northrop F-5E pilot did not survive mishap

You are mixing things up; it was a Taiwanese F-16 that went missing and a South Korean KF-5E that crashed. The 36-year old KF-5E had warninglights for both engines go on immediately after take off and it nosedived. South Korean media report that 'the pilot tried to escape' probably pointing to an un...

Mustang 18, Nevada Army Natl Guard-- unusual view because they didn't listen to the tower and flew their own approach--right over the admiral's house. They were 'counseled' by the tower and then told to report to base ops.

Re: Military plane crash in Las Vegas, May 24, 2021

It crashed (stalled?) while turning finals for RW 03, after a right hand circuit. It didn't crash immediately after take off, as many news outlets mention. The Mirage slammed into a vacant lot a mere 100 metres away from Martin Luther King elementary school, and it might well be possible the pilot e...

Potential Bu No was 166207 for this crash. This from ADS-B Exchange appears to confirm Bu No 166207 as the airplane that crashed. https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=ae54e1&lat=30.420&lon=-87.749&zoom=18.0&showTrace=2020-10-23 Interesting and sad at the same time. Aircraft flies to the west while ...

From the wreckage pics found on Twitter: last digit of bu.no is a 3, digit before that looks like a '0' so 166503 is the one that crashed?

Do you really mean that AT-7/18-5413 & AT-8/15-5414 went to the 356thFS at Eielson AFB !? Funds for the modification and takeover of the first plus the eight FY18 F-35A have only just been released. At least three Turkish F-35As were seen at Edwards this week (together with two Wobblin' Goblins but...

Serbian MiG-21s were grounded since 2018. Last week MiG-21UM 185 took to the skies again. Two 'NL-16' aircraft are or will be wired to carry the R-60 missile so they can be used as QRA aircraft.
