Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

AF-109 as 15-5118/OT made its maiden flight Tuesday, Dec 20, 2016. Do you perhaps know what happend to AF-105, AF-106, AF-107 and AF-108? Can't seem to find any information on them. In other news, VMFA-121 moved seven F-35Bs to MCAS Iwakuni last week. Four of them are: 169168 VK-04 169293 VK-07 169...

The Flickr page of MCAS Iwakuni shows VK-04 and VK-07 of VMFA-121 landing at MCAS Iwakuni on January 18, 2017. Edit: This album shows VK-04 (BuNo 169168), VK-05 and VK-00 in transit to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, on January 9, 2017. (The modexes and one BuNo is readable when you downloa...

I see you edited your post. Was the flight of 2 F-35As to Amendola Air Base cancelled? Do you know if this was supposed to be the delivery flight of AL-6/32-13 and AL-7/32-07?

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

I believe the other two to be; MV-55 VMX-1 CF-11 wearing no unit markings (yet). Regards, Charles Yep, seems right! CF-11 is most likely BF-43 BuNo 169028 , which was previously assigned to VMFAT-501 as VM-19. MV-55 is a bit harder to figure out which aircraft it is. If I had to guess I would say i...

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

First picture of the 8th British F-35B, ZM142 (169301) has been seen. Taken on October 28.
Now for the F-35B's and F-35C's in Lot 8 we only still miss BF-55 169297 and CF-31 169305.

Edit: F-35C CF-31 169305 has been noticed too at Fort Worth. Picture here.

Not going by the caption on the photo on Fighter Control.

The Bu number is not readable in the photos, although one of the photos of VM-18 may just be 168726.
In this picture 168726/VM-18 is readable.
