Re: Stairs discussion Schleswig spotters day

No stairs means a crowded front line, a crowded front line means more complaints, more complaints means less people allowed in, less people allowed in means a lottery, a lottery means disappointed people, disappointed people means even more complaints, even more complaints in the worst case means no...

Re: Suwon F-4 retirement June 7, 2024

055 which was one of the two aircraft presented as RF-16's had a targeting pod on the intake. None of the five F-16's from wave 1 that crossed the runway had a targeting pod so despite that there was enough time it weren't the same aircaft. Also the two "RF-16's" were supposed to be from ...

Re: Suwon F-4 retirement June 7, 2024

just wondering: could the two F-16's from waive 4 and the three F-16's from waive 5 be the same as the 5 from wave 1 ? There was enough time in between. Agree with Dino: the F-35's in wave 6 are for sure different ones than those in wave 5, there was not enough time to reposition (as was the case o...

Crash at Beja airshow

Two Yak-52’s crashed this late afternoon during the Beja airshow. Apparently one pilot survived after the two aircraft collided in mid air.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + the war that followed

Maybe a stupid question but why are Ukrainian losses not listed here? It appears that a Ukrainian 831.BrTA Su-27 was lost on May 17th, unfortunately along with its pilot pplk Denis Vasylyuk. Reportedly downed by a Russian Su-35S (source: The Military Watch)

Re: AirVG Zagreb 11-5-24

Thanks! Did anyone identify the UH-60M on the mil ramp which probably broke down and got replaced by a Mi-171Sh for the pilot rescue demo? Do you mean at Lucko or at Pleso? UH-60M #231 which was on the static arrived on Friday afternoon. The pilot rescue helicopters operated from Lucko where indeed...

151 flew so unless it flew from
another parking spot I would say our sighting was correct.

Re: AirVG Zagreb 11-5-24

Mig-21UMD 167 was visible next to the new Rafale hangars (seen from bus Z290). One PC-9 landed just after the opening of the static. Also 33 black (ukrainian An32) was seen outside the platform and another Ukrainian An32 was seen inside the old hangar (seen from my seat on board the flight back hom...

009 and 600 were seen low level on the 4th, 71745 and 015 flew on the 8th.
The F-16’s might have been operating from their home base and not Iniochos related? No 337 aircraft have been seen operating from Andravida this week.
