Re: Nancy (LFSO) 2014 MIL

Thanks for the log! Just after the departure of the afternoon mission, one local Mirage 2000D came back. Anybody for the serial of that one? And yes, would be interested in the TB30s as well..... ;-) At the end of the day, around 18 h or so, Mirage 672/133-XV was seen being towed into the Northeast ...

Is it possible to take a picture without other aircraft standing in the way (and preferably also not behind)? If so I might come over quickly, despite the bad light.....

Re: REQ identity of unknown Vampire in Antwerp (?)

I am told it is indeed A-805, and they are indeed based at Antwerp. The id of the Vampire is still unknown though.
Didn't know the P3 lives at Antwerp by the way....

REQ identity of unknown Vampire in Antwerp (?)

Hi all, Listed on Ebay is an unknown Vampire. The seller is located in Breda, but he gives the location of the Vampire as Antwerp. In one of the pictures the Vampire is stored next to a Swiss P3, with registration A-8** only partly visible. Is there somebody who knows more about this Vampire (or the...

Re: F-86 Sabre Mk.5 in Roth

Well spotted! These plates look lke part plates though, not the "main" construction number plate (which F-84s don't have anyway afaik). So it could be a matter of swopping parts before preservation/scrapping?

Re: Oud Loosdrecht Lim 5 1220.

This indeed seems an impossible one to catch unfortunately. I tried a few times on location as well, left a message via the website and sent emails to a mail address I got. No luck (or response) at all unfortunately. Interestingly, but not very promising, is that I see that the guest book on the web...

Re: question Twenthe 1996 airshow

Sorry Harry, I only logged a French AS532UL on the 5th... (2299/AIU)...
Same here. I visited on both the 5th and the 6th, but the only French chopper I logged was that Cougar.
Of course I was only still a "starter" back then, so I might have missed the less obvious.....

Re: PIC: Yeovilton England: Kamikaze aircraft to go on displ

It is not known what ever happened to the other three Well, that's rather public knowledge though ;-) One used to be preserved at Chattenden, and is nowadays stored at Duxford; one is preserved in the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester; and the last one is preserved in the RAF museum at Cos...
