Re: Operational Dutch F-16's

Have the "old to Draken F-16's" left the RNLAF inventory already ?!? Your question is a bit unclear. If you mean: have the F-16s that are sold to Draken already been wfu by the RNLAF, then the answer is yes. The contingent at Tucson AFB has been disbanded, if I am right they are currently busy pack...

Re: Operational Dutch F-16's

Sold to Draken, to be exact. So in principle they will stay in the US indeed, althoug you never know where they might go if a foreign contract is won by Draken. Very little chance that you will see them outside the US in the future, since the contract includes the condition that they may only be so...

Thanks for the log! Pratteln: Mig-21, gone, return to Czechia Allegedly this went to Nicosia in Cyprus. I haven't been able to locate it yet, but as I don't need it, I haven't tried too hard to be honest. Langenbruck: Vampire. Museum was closed. Reason was unfall with another vampire in a hangar, co...

Wrecks wrote: 18 Sep 2022, 15:04 Did check the location today. The civil Mi-2 was clearly visible form the public road. It is parked on the driveway before a hedge. Behind the hedge is the Ka-26. Only visible are the 2 tail booms and a engine nacelle.
As I mentioned before in this topic, the civil M-2 is former USSR air force.

For now apparently only one drop is scheduled indeed, in the morning. Which aircraft will participate I don't know, just wait and see I guess.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed

I must say that I can't really make out the landing gear, but at the end of the video it does look like the two engines next to each other and at least some part of a vertical tail structure next to it. Like with a Su-34 and not a Su-25. So I agree, Su-34 it must have been once... In the very first...

Former Hungarian AF 508. Would be nice to know where it "lives" if not at a festival. Their Mi-2 is former USSR AF by the way.
