Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL

Watching Maudit's pictures, it looks like it would actually be 50-41 (MM 7020).
The second Tornado which flew with this one in the morning was 50-52.

In the afternoon, 4 Tornados took off together, but I was too far to identify them.

Re: EBFS 02-07-2014 FA18Fs

Yesterday (2nd July) in Florennes, I caught, among others, this Tornado taking off.
Does anyone know what is the cause of such white smoke suddenly coming out of the engine ? Obviously nothing serious as it carried out its flight normally.

Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL

And Itaf Tornado 50-71 (shark mouth) flew today with 50-52. The two Super Hornets also flew (each one flew in the morning and the one without marking once more in the afternoon). I left around at around 2 PM. Also there for one touch and go was Alpha Jet AT-17. Yesterday this Super Hornet also flex ...

Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL

Supet Hornets at Florennes !!! The news talked about it a few days ago (about finding new fighters to replace our F-16) but I couldn't believe it : http://www.levif.be/info/belga-politique/boeing-presente-son-f-18-super-hornet-fin-juin-debut-juillet-a-florennes/article-4000649768814.htm So they are ...

Re: EBBR 26-06-14

This morning, at 7 a.m., a Greek Air Force ERJ-145 was already present on the parking at Abelag (id number was not visible as the plane was partially hidden).
It looks like USAF C-32 (J. Keary's visit at NATO) was already gone at this time. At least, I didn't see it.

Re: USMC HMX-1 VH-60 in Brussels

And by the way... Does anybody know why this (our those) VH-60s came to Brussels at the end ?? It doesn't look like Obama or his staff used any of them here as he didn't leave Brussels while in Begium, and nobody noticed them in flight since last weekend. They maybe left for Normandy to pick him up ...

Re: USMC HMX-1 VH-60 in Brussels

Hi Bram, Sorry, but I don't. Unfortunately, it is not possible at all to identify it. It was so unexpected to see it in front of my appartment's windows that I just had enough time to catch a camera which is usually used "for family". This chopper was definitely too far fot such a small "Canon". Non...

Re: Brussels-Zaventem 03-06-14 (MIL)

I just saw this EdA Falcon, parked in front of Abelag's main door. From the different places where I have been, I didn't see any other Spanish Falcon while I was there (between around 4 and 5 PM). But it is possible to park other visitors at Melsbroek, where they are not visible from outside. Next t...

USMC HMX-1 VH-60 in Brussels

Hello guys, For my first post, a picture I made this saturday afternoon of one HMX-1 VH-60 flying over Brussels. I think it landed after its short flight at Nato Headquarter, in Evere. I guess it came in aboard the C-17 which was seen landing at Zaventem (see pictures posted). Copie de IMG_1009.jpg
