Thanks guys, does that mean they operate from Twente airport or do they just fly through that zone ("boven Twente" staat in het artikel)? Sorry, not so familiar with this type of exercise and possibilities at EHTW and wonder if it is worth to visit the airport or not.

Looks like Twente Aurport is in the zone, but not necessarily part or target of the exercise.

Looking back at similar exercises, the FARP and LZ ops will most likely take place at the event terrain near the former atc tower (specifically: the field formerly used by the local RC flying club TRMC). In that case, the best viewing point would be the former fueltanks.

Here is a spotting map of the airport. As a small update I've added some flight routes and marked the location where the FARP and LZ ops might take place as I explained earlier. Hope it helps

Thanks again Tim, that's very helpful. So the light green zone, if I understand you well, will be used by the helicopters and with dark blue 'fuel tanks' being the best place to spot them. If the weather allows I will definitely pass by! Afternoon seems best for photos given sun.

C130H (smaller versions, should be the 988 and 781 or just 1 on both days)
