HLP Jakarta Halim Friday 05th October 2012-Indonesia Day

Having returned from being on vacation in Europe through the summer,the grim reality of returning to work loomed.Fortunatly the first working trip was to Jakarta 2 days before Indonesia Day.Naturally a stop-over for a couple of days to visit here was taken.Noted from the airport parking lot and eventually airside,once the President had left the base and security became much laxer,

This was the flying as seen from the outside in the order it happened,apart from a number of helicopters,some of which were too low to be seen from outside,but included TNI-AD Mi-17s.The flying was commenced post 09.00 and concluded around 10.00.


The Presedent has left the base by 11.30,along with the thousands of other VIPS and access was gained to the civil ramp for the afternoon,
