Abu Dhabi (OMAA/AUH) - 2011 CIV & MIL

Post by phkza »

maintenance [LOG] 28-4-2011

Got the opportunity to visit the maintenance aerea at Abu Dhabi. Taking pictures absolutely forbidden (and heavily checked, as experienced), so just a log. Very frustrating to be able to touch A6-AFA and not have your camera.

Small log of the parked/stored aircraft. Strange thing: I am sure I saw A6-RKA written on a stored A310-300 of Sun Air Sudan, but I cannot find it anywhere on the web. Instead it says this reg belongs to a leased 757. Can anyone shine a light?

Hi,

I was there 2 years ago and saw at the maintenance a Tristar is it the same?

Kind regards,

Bradley

I doubt it, unless it takes 2 years for a RAF TriStar to get through maintenance.

Looks indeed like a RAF L-1011. Impossible to tell which one though...
