Mactan (Cebu) (RPVM/CEB) - 2010 CIV

Post by ron mak »

Dalavia TU-214 RA-64507 was parked at Mactan for more than 2 weeks, I arrived on march 2, 2010, and she was still at Mactan when I left on march 16th 2010.

Any idea what kind of flight this was ?

Thanks

What spotting conditions are officially, I cannot tell you.

Unofficially they are okay.
I never experienced problems at Mactan.
Please be careful at the military spots, but they are the most fun.
There are loads of stored Hercules aircraft at Mactan.
And lots of Huey's flying around.
People are friendly, at a little bit shy over there.
Only taxidrivers are a bunch of idiots.
And agressive they are.

Information from Mactan-Cebu airport says that Dalavia is waiting for a repair team, the aircraft is parked at Mactan since :worship: january 2010, other information is , that Dalavia no longer exists, thats what Wikipedia says ! ?

I flew from Cebu Mactan 18 May 2010 and the Dalavia aircraft was still there.

Dalavia seems really to be bankrupt (http://www.alternativeairlines.com/dalavia" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

See also this Philippine spotters link http://www.philskies.net/forum/viewtopi ... =1&t=12620" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the Tu-214.
