The Belgian Brugge Mil Mi-26s...

Five thousands euros a piece isn't much. These three rotary behemoths of the air may have been purchased by a scrapper... :(

I was there in July to take a look. The owner let us on the premises to come close and while they were cleaning the choppers, he told us they were indeed going to be sold. He thought though that they would be sold to a new operator.... and that they would be flying again soon.... Didn't look like they were still capable of flying ever again, but that is what he said.

Just had contact with the Dutch owner of the MIL's and the three choppers are NOT sold to anyone !
There are several plans but none is close of being actualised so the choppers will be around for some time.

Please note that the owner of the location where the choppers are stored, is not the owner of the choppers itselve.
