Who says "REstore"? Propwash mentions "STORE". It is put in storage so it will be (hopefully) be around in an airworthy state with enough life left to mark the centenary of the end of WW.2. That must be quite a challenge, as they must both prepare the aircraft for long time storage so that it CAN be made to work again AND work out a plan how and when to revive her in timenilsko wrote:35 years to restore an aircraft? The risk that the revival will not come about is very real IMHO, but then again, if this action is not taken the odds are that it will definitely (and forever) be out of service by 2045!
