10-9-2023 Request ID type Tessenderlo

Post by Sjoerd »

After the KB show, I did a W&R trip on Sunday throughout the northern half of Belgium. I also ended up at Foets in Tessenderlo-Heide (Turnhoutsebaan) and noted a frame not noted before (AFAIK). You can see it at google maps; https://www.google.nl/maps/place/51%C2% ... ?entry=ttu

The only part of the plane that could be seen, was the starboard wing (olive drab with orange dayglow wingtips). This was from a small alley behind the company. It looked like a MH.1521/Do-27 type, but so far I'm not really 100% it indeed is. Anyone got a clue?

Isn’t this the T-28 Trojan which was stored (june ‘23) in the backyard Sjoerd?

Looking at google it is not the T-28, but it is parked to the right of that one. Might be a Do27, but cannot say for sure that it is. Perhaps our local friend Laurent H knows?
