Dinoland Zwolle (NL)

Post by frank kramer »

Today I passed the site of Dinoland in Zwolle by train. This was the first time I came across this site. They appear to have at least two airframes: a grey Mi2 registered "PH-DINO" and what appeared to be a red PA28. The Mi2 was identified by Eurodemobbed as ex Slovak AF 8215, but does anybody know the identity of the PA28 please?

Thanks! (Even though that does not yet solve the question on the identity of the red Piper  )

If I am totaly correct, it should be the N1986W. It was at Groningen at the McD, moved to Heino, together with the Mi-2, and later on to Dino-land.
PH-BZF/G, PH-LMR, PH-BXR, PH-KCD, G-EUPR, G-EUUR.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks! In which case the red plane of course is not a PA28, but a Beech B19 Sport 150. I missed it in Groningen when it was the McPlane (did get the earlier Cessna there though), so I'm happy I have caught it after all.

Just a quick note to confirm both the Mi-2 and the Beech 19 are still present at Dinoland. Due to the winter (no leaves on the trees), both could easily be seen when passing on the main road next to the attraction parc.
