old (dutch?) bird on transport truck

Post by pvl »

i saw a hull of what i believe was a dutch jetfighter beïng transported on a truck yesterday.
it definitly looked like an older model.
it was grey and i think there was a dutch round marking (roundel?) on it (saw it in a flash though...)
it drove past schiphol on the A4 in the direction of Amsterdam.

does anyone know what (kind of) bird it was and where it came from and was going to?
sorry for the vague description...

Most probably that was us, moving an F-84F Thunderstreak (P-254, RNLAF) from Hoofddorp to Eindhoven AB. :)
