Thanks for the answer! Pretty busy route isn't it? I can rougly count 10 USA-Rammstein and then another 10 visa versa routes a day. Could be more.. Because I'm not always watching up.

I've also spotted some KC-135's or a E-3 on the route.. But Haven't got a picture right now.

Done this in pure boredom. So it would be even better if you really can do something with this.

I want to capture them.. But as you all know, the weather isn't really helping.

Kind Regards,
Jeffrey.

Good evening!

I was just doing a little experiment with the shutterspeed..
Then an airliner came flying over.. The goal of my experiment was to capture that, I did.

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER. G-BZHB. Flight BAW873.
Image

It's obvious what the 763 is.. But what's the blue one? haha.
No clue what that might be.

And when I wanted to go catch SIA318. (A380) It started to rain, and some thick clouds came in. Even together with some thunder. Better next time..

Kind regards,
Jeffrey.

Could be the strobe lights on the end of the wing.

That's kinda impossible.. Well, It could be the strobe of a different aircraft. But the BA 767 has red strobes as you can see on the photo.. But the strange flowing line above is the thing I'm wandering about.

Jeffrey.

No way, they 're already in the picture
I think it's lens flare.

It's perfectly fine if you laugh at this. I was 16 years old and didn't quite have the equipment to capture the images you are getting here. Well, in 1962 NO ONE had the equipment to get images like the beauties I see here!

This is a B-47 at cruise, taken from my parents house in South Hadley, Massachusetts in 1962. The photo was taken with a cheap 35mm rangefinder through one side of a 7X binocular. There's lots of motion blur, but this technique worked fairly well on other shots for a kid with no telephoto capability.

Yes, you're right. I thought the picture was more zoomed in! I think it's lens flare too! Looks kinda funny.

Just clear this; the red flash-light on top and bottom of a plane are the anti-collision lights; the strobe lights are the white flashing lights on the wing-ends and tail.

It's a RC-135 from the USAF, flying on behalf of the RAF @ Mildenhall AFB ... and doing spy-stuff (BB is listning along  )

Nice capture
