Do you know if all attack-Drakens received these modifications? As far as I can remember most or all of the ones I've seen myself used to have the "round" nose (and I've seen quite a few of these Drakens in those days). I guess either not all have been converted or my memory isn't serving me correct anymore (which is entirely possible 15+ years after the fact) :)

Herbert,

All Danish non-recce Drakens were modified with the WDNS nose.

Can we do requests as well? Are there any pics available of the Condor G91's visiting Twenthe back in 1990. I believe this had to do with the temporary deployment of Hopsten Phantoms (plus we had Wittering Harriers, AND Bitburg Eagles, aahhhhh).

Thanks for any pics.

Yep that's the Gina, thanks a lot Tiger 1! Unfortunately I only took pictures during a very short time in my spotters career, but I still hope others will contribute to this forum. It's a fitting way to say farewell to an airbase that closes its gates this year.

Interesting pics Tiger1, keep 'em coming! By the way, it looks as if German Phantom has a tail which is sprayed in the scheme that came after this one, or am I mistaken? Nice 315 badge by the way, nowadays those things are all regulated i.e. forbidden...

Do you have any pics of the rotation with 74 sqn Phantoms which took place a the same time when the pictured KC135 was stationed at Twenthe AB?

Thanks,

JJ

Tiger 1, beautiful pics, as always. Did you take that picture of the French Alpha Jet during the rotation back in 1983/84?
