In fact the F28 was used to fly KLM staff and their families to the KLU open day. You only paid like 15 euro. Depart from Schiphol, takes you in 15 minutes to SSB, make a touch and go and park at the static display.
No need to tell that for 16 year old kid this was much better then the train!!

in the late eighties there were also the hunter/killer teams from Spangdahlem and they frequently visited Soesterberg. Here a F-4G/F-16C couple is seen preparing for take off.

Hi Peter and Ernesto,

Cracking shots!
The 066/UH Aardvark crashed 20-7-1990, It was on the static at Deelen, 1988. Looks like so long time ago, I started my spotting career that year..
Here some pics from 1993 and 1994 starting with a French N262 serial 95 in take off at runway 09.

Two 154 Gruppo Tornados paid a weekend stop early June 1993, MM7024/24 was one of them, the other one MM7083/6-10 I have posted earlier.

June 1994 saw four EC3/12 Mirage F1Cs making a lunch stop. They leave all together what a noise!
