The annual arrival of 3 USAF C-130 th the UK to commemorate the D-day landings occured today (26th May) with the arrival of the following Hercs here,

86-0410 AFRC,95 AS Herky 96
92-3024 AFRC,757 AS Herky 97
94-3715 AFRC,757 AS Herky 95

Thankd to Fighter Control for this report.

Visitors seen here on Monday 28th May,

ZH003 Defender AL.2 651 Sqn AAC070 circuits at around 11.43

The 3 USAF C-130H that arrived on the 26th were still present.

Based airplanes seen,

ZZ171 Globemaster III 99 Sqn RRR6663 arr 18.01
ZZ178 Globemaster III 99 Sqn delivered 23.05,yet to fly on a squadron mission.

Swedish AF Tp84 84002 was due,but I'm not sure if this arrived.

09th July visitors, noted on way to Fairford found the following,

In the early morning the KC-137 was not there yet!?
He was visible in the decent west of Fairford at approx 14.30h sunday afternoon.

Thursday 26th July,

As per the Edinburgh post,RAAF,36 Sqn C-17A A41-210 calling ASY557 should be arriving between 16.00 and 16.30 LT.Departure appears to be scheduled for Saturday the 28th.
