Hello everyone,

Mid-June I will visit London Heathrow for the weekend. This time I would like to get some shots of 27L departures. I heard several stories about a pub and a petrol station of Esso and a small pedestrians bridge from where you can get some decent shots of 27L departures.

Are there possibilities with public transport to get from Hatton Cross to the Esso gas station? Please help me out here gents.

Departure from 27L would take you to the south west side of Heathrow I assume. In that case, there are busses from any of the terminals (and maybe also Hatton Cross) to T5. Looking at Google Earth it seems you can walk from T5 along the Western Perimeter Road and Southern Perimeter Road to the place you probably want to go to. I do not know the Esso station or footbridge myself though.

I guess this card will help anyway.
