Weather forecast promised us a sunny, cold and windy day as my boss send me to Newcastle. With the prospect of the arrival of some Spanish eurofighters, I decided to pass along the BoBMF spot on my way to Cottesmore to see if they did arrive. A shiny white P180, two Danish F-16s and two German EF2000s let me stay a bit longer at Coningsby. They were attending some Typhoon partners info day. Hariers will have to wait, there is some serious spotting to be done!. I had forgot my steps but the Marriott Metro Center Newcastle hotel was willingly letting me have one of their steps to do my business. So the 'dutchie in coningsby' will show you some details on this day.
