Hi, thanks for you log, that helped with some tie ups. I arrived at DUS on the 18th November and there was a Purple and Yellow Biz Jet, I could only see some of it but looked like a G5, any ideas?

Cheers, Dylan

I was at Dusseldorf today. There where some changes after my last visit.

They reduced the facilities near the visitor-terrace on top of the railway station to allmost zero. Shops and bars have disapeared and you have to go down a few floors to use the toilet .....

I also discovered a new spot (maybe allready known by some of you) on top of "parkhaus P7". This parking garage is oposite the fire station and is 8 floors high. From the top floor you can take pictures of taxing and departing aircraft. You need at least 300 mm's. Parking is 3,50 Euro's and hour. This parking garage can also be reached by foot from the main terminal.

Last time I was there I was told that downstairs there's going to be some meeting/conference center. Rooftop terrace should stay though. I certainly hope so, as it is one of the best spots in Europe: you never miss a thing!

Could it be D-AONE? That’s brown and yellow and an Embraer, but you never know…

A question: Which are the best days of the week to get some cargo aircraft on the apron?
I've been to DUS 3 times, but never any were present.
Latest spotting: KAPF, KFLL, KFPR, KFXE, KHWO, KLNA, KMIA, KOPF, KPBI, KPHL, KRSW, KTMB, LFPB

@ Rembrandt,
DUS has only 1 sheduled freighterservice, which is Sunday-afternoon's EK 744-Freighter. It shows exact the same planes as regularly visit AMS. If cargo is transported by air, it mostly involves special chartered aircraft.

I hope this helps.
