There are many People Who do know..

The east exercise area will be temporarily reserved for military use between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the south exercise area between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., and the north exercise area between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. No training flights will take place at night or on weekends.

Planning a visit next week to Hohn and Schleswig. Do you mean there is an evening mission starting around 4 p.m.?
I also see comments here about 1st wave in the morning.

Today (monday 12/6) flying @ Hohn started around 09:00 local. It seemed the US squadrons had two spares planned and al other airframes flew once during the day spread over the day. The Fins flew all four, the Brits at least two (i didn't wait for the end)
The broken down C-130 did two engine runs each time after an other C-130 visited shortly.
The parking place was quite full, al was easy going.
Happy hunting!

Where is this broken down Herc parked? We arrived around 18:30 and didn't see it. All other participants were there though or arrived while we were there (last four JZ Eagles).

Flying at Schleswig did not start before 10.15 lt. No “middle wave” was flown, and the third wave (actually the second) did not start before 17.00. The fields next to the main gate (first right after the gate when coming from the north) were free to use. Again, no hassle there. Just the light getting from ok-ish in the morning to really dreadful backlight for the late afternoon wave. The takeoff to the east obviously did not help much either, although the morning wave tried to keep the birds low until crossing the airfield boundary.

The stranded C-130 at Hohn is still behind the GFD platform, so north of the line of Tiffies. Also at Hohn no evening mission, though a lady in charge of security around the base mentioned they were open (tower manned) till 10 pm.

Please keep in mind that flying times of day 1 don't guarantee the same on day 2, or day 3, or.... Missions will change during the exercise, and so will flying times. At least that is what the military were communicating at Wunstorf today.

Thanks, will have a look tomorrow.
Regarding evening missions, around 18:45 four JZ-Eagles arrived back at Hohn. Don't know when these took off, but their return time feels like an evening mission to me ;-)

Siauliai it was. But that was Mighty1 flight, 2 MassANG Eagles including the former Kadena one. (Aviation Geek side note: Also the OT one flew today, yihaaww.)
These were the first departures this morning, apart from the early 3-ship Super Bugs.

Recovering at 18.45 is not an evening mission; I meant the reserved slot of 8 till 10 PM.

This was already the case yesterday. Strong request from local police at both Hohn and Jagel to keep (access roads to) crash gates free at all times. Please take all litter with you and do not tamper with the fence, respect farmland and tread carefully. Thanks
