ETAD closed next days

Morning,

From firday evening until Tuesday morning, Spang will be closed for locals and AMC traffic. So sat, sun and monday no traffic at all.

Today not much flying. Does anyone know if there wil be more flying this week?

I believe the 11 SP F-16s participating in Nordic Air Meet are expected to return on Friday ?

and today 8 A-10 left for czech republic...so quiet quiet...

On Sept.4th 8 A-10's from the 81st Fighter Squadron left their homebase Spangdahlem for the Czech Republic to join exercise Ramstein Rover 2012. The Warthogs landed on Namest Air Base where they will stay till at least Sept. the 21st when the exercise ends. The Hogs will fly CAS missions together/in coòp with with Czech L159's and Mi24 Hinds, Slovak Mi17's and Turkish F-16's Known aircraft involved are:
80-0275/SP, 81-0981/SP, 81-0992/SP, 82-0646/SP and 82-0656/SP.
