Seems to be a base excercise at Volkel.............Gilze Rijen is involved in excercise Falcon Autumn , in which more than 3000 peolpe are involved. So maybe the same?

Thank god, not all of us ( on this board ) work in the airforce .
As you might know, more exercises are held, with info on participants being released a bit earlier as in this case...
So far there isn't much info available ( shared ) regarding amount of missions and possible departure of participants.
And yes, this could be because of the well known reasons ... :wink:

Oefening heet Steadfast Noon 2011 en duurt van 28 september tot 6 oktober.
Beschrijving:

NATO cross servicing exercise to train crews in loading, unloading and employing B61 tactical nuclear weapons.

Dus ze zijn duidelijk bezig met nukes.

Stefan, hoe zeker is het dat er woensdag niet wordt gevolgen door de bezoekers ?

wat ik heb gehoord is dat men morgen de zgn grond-training doet dwz het laden vd bewapening volgens de afgesproken procedures-beoordelen en evalueren etc. Donderdag en vrijdag dan daadwerkelijk vliegen met de zgn ''nuke-bewapening''.

Maar goed in de wereld die luchtmacht heet is niets zeker maar de kans dat je donderdag vliegende kisten zult zien is vele malen groter dan morgen.
