Exercise NATEVALPREP & Exercise NATEVAL @ Koksijde

Post by gortje »

Hi,

I've a questions about the exersices NATEVALPREP & NATEVAL on Koksijde this year.
The exercise NATEVALPREP will starts at 22-04-2013 and ends on 26-04-2013.
The exercise NATEVAL will starts at 24-06-2013 and ends on 28-06-2013.

Can somebody tell me what kind of exercises this are, and will there be any flying activity this weeks with aircrafts from other countries??
I can't find information about this exercises on the web.

Regards,

NATEVAL = National Evaluation, NATEVELPREP = preperations.

As the name suggest no foreign participants will be there. expect some C-130's A109s and maybe F-16s operation out of / to Koksijde.
Assume makes an ASS of U and ME.

Hello. The excercise it the Nato Evaluation of the 1W heli, so only A.109 helicopters. There were already 2 preparations in 2012 (for pictures see http://www.sgkoksijde.be) . In April 2012 7 agustas arrived on Monday around noon. Flying was on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and they all left again on Fridaymorning around 8h00. They were parked on the 02/20 runway. In December the 7 agustas arrived on Tuesday due to the bad weather on Monday and flew on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday afternoon they left to Beauvechain again as again on Friday there was bad weather. They also flew night missions.

I hope this helps
