Which amazed us all as in the previous years the red airs always arrived at the end of week 2.

It could be that the expected (!) Mirages 2000 from Cambrai will operate out of their homebase.

Hey guys,

I'm new to the Scramble website and really looking forward to this TLP Spotters' Day on May 20th. After reading some posts I'm concerned. I was under the impression that a Spotters' Day would involve flying. But are they not flying? I have never been to a TLP event.

Can't wait to hear from anyone who has been there before!!

Thanks,

Trevor

Hi gents,

is there someone who knows when we can expect the first external participants, Friday or either Monday?
Especially the Swiss Hornets will be of interest :!:

In the good old days, there was a spottersday with every TLP.
This was held on the last Thursday, it had a mission, and it consisted of a walk along the flightline and a good spot next to the runway for the departure.
Thereafter everybody was escorted out of the base to resort next to the runway for the landing from outside.

Piet,

Do you think this years TLP Spottersday will be like the ones from the past? Or will it just be a good time to be by the fenceline to get plane pictures??

I work for the airlines so I can fly over for free, but is it worth flying all that way for the Spottersday in your opinion???

Thanks,

Trevor

Florennes Spot 5 accessibility

Post by Hans Rolink »

For everyone who is thinking about going to Florennes on a day with wind from the east:
The farmer started ploughing large pieces of the hilly pasture between the gravel road and the photo spot #5 on the Scramble map. This will cause difficulties reaching this spot, so take care. I don't know if he plans to plough all the way up to the gravel road, but we will see.
In any case, bring rubber boots.

Hans.

Some additions from the 17th

The EF2000T was the MM55130/4-33
Local F-16AM FA121 & FA81
The Greek ground abort was the 553 instead of the 540

Best regards, Etienne
