Correct :lol:

But you don't need F-18 Fuel to fuel a F-18. Probably they use JET-A1 to fuel a F-18.

Found some more info, the F number (next to the diafragma) is a NATO code for (aviation) fuel.

Example:
JP-8 is the military equivalent of Jet A-1 with the addition of corrosion inhibitor and anti-icing additives; it meets the requirements of the U.S. Military Specification MIL-DTL-83133E. JP-8 also meets the requirements of the British Specification DEF STAN 91-87 AVTUR/FSII (formerly DERD 2453). NATO Code F-34.

All the codes can be found here.

http://www.nato.int/docu/logi-en/1997/lo-15a.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
F-18
is an aviation gasoline (low lead) in limited use by certain NATO nations. Also known as AVGAS 100LL.
With a big thanks to GOOGLE :lol:

AVGAS 100LL aka F18 is used in piston driven aircraft like the Cessna 152 and bigger.

JET A-1 aka F34 is used in turbine driven aircraft like the F-18.

So no problems!

Spanish Hornets will be from Ala15, maybe of the MLU EF-18M type.
But there will be some pilots from Torrejon as well.
