in fact we took off yesterday just before the silence slot for the parade and in fact after the landing we were park at the northen area I think it's the machanical area for the F-16 and also the cross servicing area !

in Fact to explain the serial 314 is for the unit in France : EAC 00.314 of Tours and the number on the fin 7 is the aircraft number and aslo a serial just after the 314

Hope again to receive some photos of our landing !
Hi Lio,

thanks for the confirmation that it was E7/314-TU. By the way, we know how the French serial system works, we just weren't able to read it from the eastern end, as you didn't roll out far enough.....
And because we were still on the eastern end while you landed on the other side, we can't provide you with any pictures......I'm sorry!

Friday the 29th of August, I arrived when the launch of the mission already started.
In that launch (somewhere at the end) also 2 Alpha Jets departed.
Does anyone know which ones this were?
And is there someone with a full log from Friday 29 August?
Just to make sure my log is ok (after that I can post logs from my holiday in France ;-)).

And did somebody read the Spanish Hercules at Brussel (Melsbroek) that Friday?

Thanks in advance for any reaction!

Thank you very much!

If someone can help me with the Spanish Herc at Melsbroek that day, I'm more happy than I already am now. ;-)

Hi Marel, I think I had explained it to you sometime a few years ago ...
But as you also provide some valuable Nörvenich information (not in this forum, but in Flugzeugforum ;-))):

The first two days of each TLP flying course are academic days; so TLP participating aircraft have to be present at Florennes on the first flying day: the Wednesday.

Therefore, some aircraft (especially Italians, if they take part) arrive on the Friday before the official beginning of the flying course, flown in by TLP participating aircrew.

And, as you should know from the last session involving JaboG 31:
aircraft can also be flown in by other pilots (ferry pilots) during the first two TLP days (non flying days); these pilots return by crew ferry aircraft/transport aicraft or on the road ;-)

So maybe a few aircraft will arrive on OUR national holiday but almost surely not all.

Hope this helps and stays in your memory a little bit longer now ;-)
